The Liminal Hours: The Sinister Night, or The Sacred Dawn?

We will explore the phenomenon of awakening between the hours of 3 AM and 5 AM, often called "The Witching Hour" or "The Devil's Hour." Our investigation will include various perspectives, including ancient spiritual traditions like Brahma Muhurta and Amrit Vela, which consider these hours sacred for divine connection. Conversely, it examines folklore that portrays this period as a time of heightened malevolent supernatural activity. Then we look to see what science has to offer for an explanation. Ultimately, we will offer the "Liminal State Theory" as a contrasting way to interpret these events.
