The Babalon Working (Aleister Crowley, Jack Parsons, & L. Ron Hubbard)

In 1946, Pasadena, California, was the setting for the Babalon Working, a series of potent and perilous Enochian ceremonial magic rituals. These rituals focused on Jack Parsons, a gifted rocket scientist and devoted follower of the notorious Aleister Crowley. Parsons' ambition was to incarnate the goddess Babalon into a human form. Parsons' scribe for the rituals was none other than L. Ron Hubbard, who would later go on to found Scientology.
